Bridging your FTM to Fantom Opera

In order to bridge your FTM over to Fantom Opera from other chains like the Ethereum Network or BSC, you can use the Fantom Bridge which has a fee of 50 FTM (a little steep, I know). It says 100 FTM but the cost is actually only 50.

Upon entering the website, make sure you pick the relevant initial network — be it the ERC20 or BSC Network. The destination should be to Opera.

Once Opera has been selected, continue to picking Fantom (FTM) as your token. Following that, paste your receiving address; this would be the address on your metamask. If you have not set this up, do check our previous article which explains how to do so.

From that, click NEXT and you will see a window like this:

Proceed to deposit your FTM to that address. When the withdrawal from your respective destinations has been confirmed/completed, click the NEXT button.

DO NOTE: WITHDRAWALS FROM YOUR INITIAL DESTINATION MAY TAKE TIME. IF SO, PLEASE WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION BEFORE CLICKING NEXT. IF NOT, THE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE LOCATED.

The website will automatically scan and verify your transaction. You should then receive your FTM tokens at the receiving address.
